Blue Garner: Found deep in jungles typically growing alone. Consists of a long brown stem and blue tulip-like flowers all along it. When the leaves are mashed down into a paste and ingested, consumer will drop into a coma for 2 days, and will appear entirely dead from any investigation of non-magical means
Sabera: Rare flowering plant with large wide red flowers. Found deep in the Jungle of Dufair. Entirely toxic to eat, great for poison recipes.
Fickle-berry: A yellow-leafed plant with large blue berries that grow all over it in the spring. Berries are a common delicacy, but are known to also be excellent hosting spots for insect infestations.
Roaring Foxglove: A small wildflower. This plant creates one red conic flower each spring. This flower is incredibly lethal upon ingestion, and has been known to even kill a giant from one dose.
Thuntak Vine: Green and black spiked vine that is well known for causing minor nuisances for travelers who are not particularly observant of their surroundings. This vine typically grows up one tree and crosses between trees in the canopy. From doing this, many Thuntak vines hang down directly over paths passing through forests. Thunktak vines produce a thick white sap that can be used as a minor adhesive.
Broad Remt: A very wide leafed green plant that grows to an average of 7 feet tall. This leafy shrub’s leaves are the width of about 4 feet, and droop low around the plant. Broad Remf leaves are often used by jungle-inhabitants for base layers of clothing and armor. This plant’s leaves contain natural insecticide properties, keeping insects off of them.
Beckkar Vine: This black vine typically blends into the tree canopy foliage at night time. However, during the autumn season, the vine produces buds that glow yellow and look exactly like fireflies. When birds attack the vine, the bud releases a paralyzing spray onto the bird. Once the bird’s body falls to the ground, the vine’s wide-spreading vampiric roots below slowly suck the blood out of its victim. Beckkar Vines are not known to attack or spray humanoids.
Elephant Foot Fungus: Forms only in permanently wet soil near dead Thuntak vines. This white fungus forms a large central asymmetric blob of a body, and emits radiative spores to spread. Organic creatures caught in these spores are subject to strong radiation damage and sickness. Known to only exist in the Jungle of Dufair and the Wysterian Jungle
Wysterian Glow-Leaf: Large 6-8 foot tall yellow leafed plant. Leaves are broad and droop around the plant. In darkness, this plant’s leaves glow brilliantly yellow and light up the Wysterian Jungle at night. Glow-leaf leaves retain their glow property for up to 3 days after being plucked.
Bearded Lake Fungus: Common gray fuzzy fungus that forms along edges of lakes, where the ground is constantly moist. This fungus sucks in water from the lake, and relies on iron-rich soils. Bearded Lake Fungus causes a mild but very blatant red rash. Can be used in transformation potions.
Gesarium Plant: Also known as Shy Leaf. This green plant with yellow spots has excellent medicinal properties, known to aid in most flu symptoms, as well as speeding up the recovery rate against poisons or physical injuries. However, sound makes the plant retract its above-ground foliage back down into its underground root system. In order to harvest the leaves of this plant, Shy Leaf gatherers move silently and slowly through the forest looking for them.
Melhal Vine: Also known as Perma-stick. This plant starts as a small cluster of dark red shiny leaves at ground level. Leaves are covered in an extraordinarily powerful adhesive, and when the creature takes their next step, they typically are unable to unstick themselves. From there, the vine uses its frozen victim as a substrate to grow up and around. Melhal Vines typically end up dropping down into a mass of coiled vines, as their substrates decompose within them.
Blue Bylid: Small blue shrub averaging at 4 feet tall. Branches of the bylid glow blue within the shrub, creating an ethereal appearance at night. Ground Bylid branches are used in many potions and for many spells that create light in some way.
Mellow Tree: Small tree averaging 10 to 15 feet tall with a thin green trunk. Branching off of the very top of the trunk, the tree creates three large, perfectly spherical fruits, known as Mellows, at a time. Mellows are bright red when ripe, and yellow before ripe. Ripe mellows taste sweet, and are edible by all known living fauna in Allyria. Pastes made from Mellow flesh have proven to help rid fur of certain types of fleas as well.
Purple Tar Plant: Many cautionary tales exist for this 1 foot tall stemless ground cover plant. Purple Tar leaves are an almost black hue of purple. The leaves droop in all directions, and are covered in a sticky adhesive coating. The plant, while not harmful in itself, is home to thousands of types of parasites and worms, and as a creature steps into the plant, they become stuck, and the insects inside begin to infest the new host.
